** Ask me about adding a Documentation ‘Content Type’ to your Drupal Stack - it is a GAMECHANGER **

I’m a technical project manager - specializing in nonprofit, NGO, civic and governmental Drupal. My professional mission is to serve as a force multiplier, creating a demonstrably safe and productive environment where high-quality, insightful work can thrive.

I help teams collaborate while advocating for strategic alignment and operational excellence in complex technical environments. I’ve been in technology for 40 years - first as a technologist, now as a technical project manager. My transition was a deliberate move to apply deep-seated technical knowledge to the art of delivery, process optimization, change management and team enablement.

This is my “mission statement” when it comes to be a project manager:

  • Deploy a soft yet proactive evangelism consisting of mindfulness, humor, truth, and compassion.
  • Gladly lean into service for my workmates by creating a demonstratively safe place to get high quality, insightful, exciting work accomplished.
  • Begin with people where we are, instead of where I would expect us to be.
  • Make each project involving my participation an authentic and productive experience they want to repeat.

That mission has led me to some great places. As a project manager - my work is entirely ‘influence without authority.’ I love getting things accomplished with varied, sometimes disconnected, groups of people. It can be an interesting role so I try to lead with mindfulness and go from there.
