When developing Views for our client sites, we often make decisions within the View that aren't necessarily documented anywhere but that would be useful to have to hand in order to refer back to later.

It would be really useful to have an option in each Views Display to add notes - a plain textarea in which the Views developer can just write notes about the View for his/her own recollection or for anyone else who might be looking at or working with the View.

This wouldn't have to appear anywhere except when editing the View so should add virtually no overhead when using the site.
