Would you please consider a new feature (a checkbox) where renamed files would be moved to an archive folder, so that the ftp assets are easier managed and less cluttered with unused files?

I imagine this archive folder to behave much like the styles folder for images, meaning that it would contain a structure of subfolders from which the original files originate. Thus, there would be no naming conflict within a subfolder. The archive folder could then be backed up just in case, but could be deleted from the FTP server.

Are there any cons for such a solution?
