I've installed Timeline 6.x-2.1 and it mostly works okay, but I can't seem to make the 'initial date focus' work properly.

I can get it to open to the current date - which doesn't really work for my application - but if I set it to anything else, both in the default and in my page view, it either goes off to some random point in the future, or does nothing at all (i.e., stays at the current date).

I do not have a local installation - I'm using the the SIMILE Timeline (and Ajax) libraries on the SIMILE server.

Any help with this most appreciated - very cool module, but in my case it's seriously crippled by the inability to set the initial date focus.
