The swf's we are putting on a game site have a mute button in them. However, when you click "mute" the music keeps going. then if you unmute the swf, you can hear music from two swf's going at different places in the score. I went into the Developer Tools in Chrome and deleted the entire node for the >=IE 7 swf object, and the problem went away.

Diagnosis? Chrome is able to read both versions of the Object, and the " $html .= '

' . "\n"; on line 1612 isn't actually stopping the second version of the object from being read by Chrome.

Is there a reason that there isn't some javascript code around this block of code to actually make it only run on IE 7 or greater browsers?
