I installed JavaScript Aggregator 5.x-1.8 on a website running Drupal 5.16, inserted the necessary code into my page.tpl.php file, and received this error on the home page, the admin pages, and the module pages:

The selected file /tmp/fileSRjeZO could not be uploaded, because the destination files/js/b53044653b27588b40a33e1accc1293e.js is not properly configured.

When I checked the server, I found that the JavaScript file described in the files directory does not exist. Incidentally, the module does not appear under the "Administer by Module." Does anyone know what the issues is and how to resolve it?
