A lot things did enhance and change. Many of the strings did change as well!
This will be the last of the 6--1.x releases except for bug and security fixes. All new stuff will now go into the 6--2.x which uses token and will move the settings into the nodetype configuration page.
You have to run the update.php with this release! And make sure you check the settings as well as some variable names did change!
And be aware that the look and feel might change a bit as the message and send fieldsets are seperate now! But you could with some minor theming make it look as it used to be.
