  • Per-instance Default active tab: editors can now set which tab opens by default for each individual tabs widget, from the Properties panel (with an "Allow editors to override…" checkbox in the text format settings).
  • The editor now reflects the configured default active tab when a tabs widget is inserted, matching the front-end output.

Initial release of CKEditor Content Groups.

Adds three content-grouping widgets to CKEditor 5 — accordion, horizontal tabs and vertical tabs — configured from inside the editor, producing semantic, framework-free markup (/ and ARIA tab roles).

Includes an optional submodule, CKEditor Content Groups Schema, that outputs JSON-LD structured data (FAQPage for accordions, ItemList for tabs) for SEO.
