Hello,
thanks a lot for the module.
i actually tried to use the default rss plugin that comes with drupal with no success because i need some customization in the fields that should be displayed through the rss
therefore, i found your module, but apparently it still does not fit to my needs. i thought i would be able to display the fields i want, just like in views, but rendered as an XML output
apparently it is not, or am i missing something? for example, if add the field "node: title", then i need to set it in the drop down list provided by the plugin in the view style, right?
so i can add title, description, link, author email, author name, category, ...
but what if i need more fields? or different ones?

I then map my custom field to the description RSS field.

Although it is for versions 2.x, you can get some ideas for previous versions as well.
