For consistency.
Some folks are going to argue that most style guides advocate two separate words as opposed to "website." To which I respond:
- They can't seem to agree whether it's "Web site" or "web site." "website" is easy.
- There are far more instances of "website" in core than "web site."
- Google thinks it's "website", which means that that's the word most people search for.

drummCanadians must like this usage- "The Canadian Oxford Dictionary and the Canadian Press Stylebook list "website" and "web page" as the preferred spellings." http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Website
Good enough for me (althought I think I like spaces), committed to HEAD.

webernet commentedFollowing the last comment - there's one instance of "webpage" in core.
Patch changes it to "web page".

RobRoy commentedLooks like this didn't get committed in #2. This patch does what the original intended for HEAD: changes web site to website so I'm marking it RTBC as there was a mixup.

drummShould this be put in 5?

webchickI don't think so.. it would break translations. That would be acceptable for a major bug but it's just a little nit-pick, really.
