Great to see the work on this. I've noticed a few issues:
- /css/tabs.css is missing (and doesn't seem to be called even when the option is enabled).
- I know in Basic (which this smartly seems to be using as a base) there is also an /images/tabs/ directory with several images that also need to be included for the Zen tabs to work
- the rebuild registry option on the theme settings page doesn't seem to be working (Basic has had this feature break several times, so I guess the it's currently kaput)
- block edit on hover is currently not working for me on a fresh install either

And for organizational purposes, I think we should make each one of these an issue.

jensimmons commentedAdded the styles from Bartik for the tabs to the D7 branch. (D6 branch is discontinued for now.)
