If the custom (color) option of the Bartik theme is used to modify the theme colors (admin/appearance/settings/bartik -> colorset -> custom), the colors of the forum table can get out of sync with the rest of the site. See attachment for an example. I wonder if it would be possible to alter the colors of the forum blocks in such away that they match the rest of the site. With this I mean that the colors should automatically change with the rest of colors in case the Bartik theme colors are changed.
The different available Bartik color scheme that come with the Drupal core seem to work fine in combination with the forum block as they use grey as base color.

Jeff Burnz commentedI would think this is worth looking at more closely, certainly some testing with rgba might be in order here.

tim.plunkettTested these against a solid white background, it produces the same hex values as core. Needs to be tested against a variety of background colors for contrast. Probably won't work on dark backgrounds.... More on this later.

radoeka commentedI just wanted to add (complain ;) ) that the same problem was present for tables. This fix solves that problem as well :)
Well done.

tim.plunkettFor the tecord, that's because the forums ARE tables. This issue title could have been changed, because I didn't change any forum-specific code.
