The attached screenshot shows the display for the http://drupal.org/project/grammar_parser module.

Its front page lists the date of the 7.x-1.x-dev version as 2010-Aug-28, but admin/reports/updates displays 2010-Feb-27 instead.

The issue is still present, and only for grammar_parser (among the modules that I have installed).

This isn't a bug in the update manager. The problem was caused by the grammar_parser 7.x-1.x-dev release having 2 files attached to itself -- a "pgp" tarball and the grammar_parser tarball. This state was created when the project was renamed -- the packaging script isn't smart about this case, so it left the old filename attached to the release node. That was causing the stale date in the release history XML files, which is what was confusing the Update manager. I cleaned out the bogus file and rebuilt the release history XML for this project. Should all be fine now.
