Hello, I'm surprised I can not find the options to enable a user type to edit all comments for a type of content (edit comments that does not belong to the author). Is the module to a bug on my site or that the module was not designed for that?

If I get you right, what you are looking for is "administer comments" by content type. This is currently not supported. I changed this in a feature request.
