Place a count next to terms in term pages

I’m looking for a way I can put a count in the taxonomy term pages. If I have a broad term and that term can subsequently be refined by some other terms, the count would obviously be reduced. For example, if I have a term called “Cars,” there would be a count next to the term in the term page. Then users can refine “Cars” with say, “Porsche.” From “Porsche” he would drill-down even further say, “911 Turbo.” The pages would look something like this: Cars (85), then Cars, Porsche (38), then Cars, Porsche, 911 Turbo (16). I would really appreciate it if someone can provide some support. Please see the attachments to see what I mean.
