I would like to submit a module which I have created called Recruit for Drupal 7.
This module allows site administrators to create jobs and have applications submitted against the job.
When you install this module, it creates two node types recruit_job and recruit_app. It also creates Job status, Job category and Job type as taxonomy fields.
There currently is a similar module for Drupal 6 called Job posting (http://drupal.org/project/job_posting).
The job posting maintainer has communicated that the module will not be ported to Drupal 7 in this issue http://drupal.org/node/690766.
I then commented in the issue (http://drupal.org/node/690766#comment-2768678) offering the Recruit module as a Drupal 7 release but never got a reply.
Thanks,
Ivan

avpadernoHello, and thanks for applying for a CVS account. I am adding the review tags, and some volunteers will review the code, pointing out what it needs to be changed.
As per requirements, the motivation message should be expanded to contain more features of the proposed project. For themes, it should include also a screenshot of the theme, and (when possible) a link to a working demo site using the proposed theme; for modules, it should include also a comparison with the existing solutions.

ivan zugec commentedRecruit will be a suit modules for Drupal 7 which will allow users to manage jobs ads, applications and candidates. If you were to install the module you'll get two node types recruit_job and recruit_app. You'll also get a bunch of fields (cv, cover-letter, status, category).
Once Views 3 for Drupal 7 stabilises, I'll also be creating back-end screens for site users to manage applications and candidates.
List of other recruit/job board based projects:
My goal for the recruit module would be to focus more around applications and candidates. Similar to an applicant tracker.
Thanks,
Ivan

ivan zugec commentedHi,
Now I would like to apply for CVS access to co-maintain the Job Posting module (http://drupal.org/project/job_posting). As per the requirement for co-maintainership, an issue has been created and the current maintainer has accepted the co-maintainership (http://drupal.org/node/933868).

avpadernoThank you for your contribution! I am going to update your account.
These are some recommended readings to help with excellent maintainership:
You can find more contributors chatting on the IRC #drupal-contribute channel. So, come hang out and stay involved.
Thank you, also, for your patience with the review process.
Anyone is welcome to participate in the review process. Please consider reviewing other projects that are pending review. I encourage you to learn more about that process and join the group of reviewers.
I thank all the dedicated reviewers as well.
