Link back to image node and comments

The lightbox2 integration is brilliant , but it misses one key ingredient I think. On my sites I have 'image' also installed and using lightbox2. In the lightbox2 settings I have 'image page and comments ' set in the lightbox2 settings so that in 'image' nodes while looking at an image in the lightbox I can have the play for slideshow , the next and previous buttons , and the link back to the Image node to see the pic and any comments made . In node gallery I have the same thing set up , but the link back to the image display page is not there. Its not carried over in the integration . That is my Feature request.
I am going to play with the custom node setting in lightbox using the node gallery class as soon as I have finished the present site I'm working on and hoping that will show the link as it appears in 'image' lightbox2 display, but think a better integration with Lightbox2 would be tremendous , especially if the lightbox2 integration with the now redundant acidfree could be replaced with node gallery.
Would be nice to get the lightbox2 integration working out of the box though hey! , especially for me the link back to node gallery image display.
