I fear this is not possible in D6 due to restrictions in the menu system.

Sorry for reopening, I am just trying toolbar for the first time and I can't find how to add uid for links in toolbar.
wihout it it looks not so promising as it could be.
e.g. there could be link to edit user account, to edit user content profile, to user relationships, etc, those are links where is user uid inside, e.g. user/uid/edit

can you please confirm that this is not possible to do with this your module? I hope I am wrong because this module looks really promosing.
Now I am using my own solution - similar toolbar as a block, with menu items and submenu items (I am missing them there too), based on admin menu, where can be any link, doesn't matter if it exist - it is better that drupal menu system which is not very comfortable.

I'm working on the 3.x version it'll be possible, more details soon. When some code is ready I'll post here.
