I have a role on my site called "admin" and this role can generally do most things that user #1 can do. For admin role, I also made sure to set the permission "administer menu_per_role" in permissions.

The problem I am having is when the admin role sets permission on a primary menu item, lets called it "partner login". The admin role sets the permissions for that role for anonymous and authenticated use for example. The problem is after he saves that menu item he can no longer see the menu item in the backend to edit. My understanding of the module was that it sets a permission for menu visibility for the front end, not the back end? (or am I mis-understanding the intended use)

highrockmedia,

I guess that would make sense? 8-)

The menu was still editable, but indeed not visible to the administrators (other than UID 1).

A new version will appear in the -dev within the next 12h.

I guess not too many people use the administer menu_per_role permission!

Thank you,
Alexis
