Hello everyone!

I am working with the Job Plus Job Board System Module. So far, I have installed and enabled the necessary modules. I am trying to create a 'job' node to post, but when I try to do so, Drupal tells me that...

* Country field is required
* State field is required

Unfortunately, I do not see these fields on the node's submission page. This is corroborated by the fact that under 'Manage Fields' neither Country nor State is listed. When I go to 'Add existing field', the drop down menu does NOT have entries for Country or State... I am not quite sure how to solve this problem... why is it expecting a field that I seemingly unable to provide?

The country state fields are supplied by a module. In the Drupal 5 version this is cck_address. You will need to create an address field in the job content type called job_address. That has the country and state field in it. This is in the instructions for installing the jobplus module in the README.txt

Please go through the instructions again.

Thanks for the response NZ.

I did try that, but when I do so, I get other errors...

* warning: array_key_exists() [function.array-key-exists]: The first argument should be either a string or an integer in /mnt/hgfs/www/web/drupal/trunk/sites/all/modules/cck_address/cck_address.module on line 926.
* warning: asort() expects parameter 1 to be array, null given in /mnt/hgfs/www/web/drupal/trunk/sites/all/modules/cck_address/cck_address.module on line 1797.
* warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /mnt/hgfs/www/web/drupal/trunk/sites/all/modules/cck_address/cck_address.module on line 1798.
* Please correct all highlighted errors and try again.

What's especially troubling is that despite the fact that I select United State/Alabama for the Country/State fields,they're still highlighted in red as though they were null. What is causing this behavior?

Sorry for being sluggish - I reread the instructions and got it working. The key was...

- add a cck_address field to your job content type and configure it as follows
'Free text Entry
Allow other countries (Since this system overrides the default cck_address functions we do not need to select any countries here (only Canada and US available anyway)
Select at least state and country fields to use
Ignore select from DB

Thanks for you help!

No Problem Aka,

I should probably add a note that the installation instructions need to be followed and you have to be awake at the time :)

Actually I just noticed on the project page I said that the addresses field is created for you. This only happens in the D6 version, and I have corrected it.
