Hi,
Seems that from version 6.x-1.0-alpha4 the Facebook application id is necessary, but what is it and where do I get one?

billsdesk commentedThe URL is the correct starting point. If you don't have a developer account, it will force you to create one. To make future access to the application information easier, I suggest using your Facebook account name.

vtsaran commentedOK, but which piece of information do we insert in the "application ID" edit field? Is it ID, application secret key or the sample code?
vtsaran commentedI am assuming we are talking about application ID, as the field's lable suggests. However, I do not see any buttons on my web site, http://www.victortsaran.net.
I've pasted the appID exactly as it was suggested by Facebook. Anything I am missing?
Thanks,
Victor

ElgarL commentedre-open as I get nothing showing up at all.
Installed the modules, enabled the modules and blocks.
Created the app on facebook developers and added the ID's.
Text with this app says something about clicking a connect on facebook? Where? I see nothign and there's no where I can follow the path it gives.

forget it, I gave up wasting my time on this. Things should work as per the instructions, AND out of the box.

j0e commentedI had this problem like #8 and it was because I had another facebook share module installed. I uninstalled it and used share and like button from this module and they show up fine. Hope that solves your issue too.
