Diff.module Fatal Error when used with Drupal 4.7

I've installed diff module my drupal 4.7 site. When I tried to click diff to: current | previous | first in the diff tab on a node that have several revisions, I got that fatal error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: form_item() in diff.module
