Can someone please explain how to use this?

I've installed and enabled. I've authenticated my google account and put in an API key. I run Cron and get:

Google Base

0% of nodes on the site have been sent to Google Base. There are 6 items left to send. Items are indexed by running cron.

0 items are pending deletion.

I note that a new content type has been created. Products. Previously I only had Product, without the s and that is the content type of the sample inventory I have online. Is this the problem? Do I have to recreate those items as Products? I selected the box to upload to google in Product but not Products. I'm confused and really need a simple documentation on this. Is there something I need to do to cron??
