The format accepted from the meta tag DC.Date is month day year; using tokens, you should enter [site-date-mm] [site-date-dd] [site-date-yy].

The code needs to be changed to verify the entered value.

The form field for the meta tag DC.DATE has been changed back to a date field; the meta tag doesn't accept tokens anymore.

Thanks for your report.

I was getting the same '[ [ [' error reported by @eule, regardless of the token in 1.12beta9.

Just tried DEV, and noticed that the default dc.date is now selected by drop down only... obviously this is far easier to validate (so the issue as reported is effectively closed), but can there not be an option to use the current date (or date node last updated) as a default option too? Just that the fix in DEV isn't the best way to use the meta tag.

Title: Meta tag DC.DATE doesn't verify the entered value » Use again tokens for the meta tag DC.DATE

If somebody is able to provide the code necessary for validate, and correctly use the value provided for the meta tag, I am more than happy to re-add the code to use tokens for the meta tag; so far, I don't consider good the fact the code is only able to handle the content when it's provided a value in the format mm dd yyyy, but not when the used format is yyyy mm dd.

Probably I could copy the code used by the date form field to understand the date format set from Drupal, and discard any value that doesn't follow that format.

I changed the code to how it was before; the only difference is that I used the errors suppressor operator. In the case the used value is not correct, the date will be empty.

Thanks for your report.
