After creating a gallery there is text: "There are currently no images in this gallery. You may upload images to this gallery."
I can browse files and after clicking the "Submit Images" button it loads few secs and goes back to gallery page and you see again the text: "There are currently no images in this gallery. You may upload images to this gallery."
If I change theme back to garland, everything works smoothly.
Any ideas whats wrong?

At first it worked, the first gallery created is OK.
In Administration/Content I can see the Gallery Image nodes for the images, their "Back to gallery" link goes to the right gallery. They just don't appear there.

scroogie CreditAttribution: scroogie commentedhimdel: But you are working with the latest 2.x and not 3.x?
himdel CreditAttribution: himdel commentedYup, 2.0-alpha12. (Mainly because there is no 3.x link on http://drupal.org/project/node_gallery .)
Additional info:
In the 1 gallery that actually shows some images, the manage images and sort images lists are empty.
I'm thinking maybe the db query that populates $node->images is wrong or something because the saving seems to work fine.

justintime CreditAttribution: justintime commented@himdel, I just committed a fix for the $node->images not working properly. Install the latest 2.x-dev from the project page, then install this patch http://drupal.org/node/801012#comment-2982390 and see if that resolves your issue. It's very possible that this bug affected not just i18n.module but any others that implement hook_rewrite_sql().

Now I tried current 6.x-2.x (May 18), and it's better, the galleries are no longer empty :).
However, an interesting thing: when I clicked Manage gallery right after the upgrade, it showed info about changing duplicate aliases and actually shown a list of images to manage. But when I click again, it's empty.
So, the gallery works now, I'm happy, but a bug still remains.
