This is a followup to http://drupal.org/node/72694#comment-120002
The title says it all. If you upload a file with an ampersand in it (even with check_plain() removed per http://drupal.org/node/72694), you can't download it unless you have clean urls disabled.

Steven commentedThis sounds like the same problem as http://drupal.org/node/68886 and should be fixed by appropriate usage of drupal_urlencode().

Steve Dondley commentedApplying the patch in the post mentioned in #1 did the trick. Can now download files with ampersands in them.
