We are considering creating an new content type to use as resumes. We need to have new separate fields for information that was previously contained in one big text field.
What happens when we switch to using the new resume content type?
Will all the previous applicants' info still show in the list of job/applications?
Will previous applicants still be able to use their old resume nodes to apply?
Or, as I suspect, will it be better to modify the current resume, move the data on existing resume nodes to the new fields, and then remove the deprecated fields?
Appreciate any insight anyone can offer.
