These modules are unique and do not conflict with other existing modules. All effort will be given to maintain security and coding standards.
These modules will have the support of my company and at least one company who is sponsoring us to develop and maintain the modules. It is unlikely they would be orphaned due to lack of interest.

This module extends OG to allow posts to remain private while making the teaser publicly available on the site and through RSS. Prior to module development we contacted OG author (moshe weitzman) and was told he preferred to keep this functionality as a seperate module rather than integrating it into the core OG module (og_access).
This module is currently in production on http://www.novell.com/communities with a particular focus in the Partners section.

gn0rt0n commentedThe og_public_teaser module allows OG managers to set permissions on nodes allowing the teaser to be publicly available via the website and RSS. In order to view the full article, a user must log in and be a member of the required group.
This module works in conjunction with the og_access module and overrides the final result from that module of making a node fully public or fully private.
By making the teaser to an article publicly available you can entice users to log into the system and join appropriate groups. This allows potential new members to get a feel for the type of content being delivered before actually joining a site and group.
This functionality does not exist in any other module that we have found. However, if it were to be merged into another module, we would suggest putting it in with og_access as that is the most logical place for it to reside. However, based on our initial conversations with the module maintainers we have proceeded with a separate module solution.

Can anyone tell me if I have done what is required of me? If I still need to wait that is fine, but I'm uncertain if things are waiting on me.
