Javascript Redirect?

Greetings. Drupal total newby here. Quick Question: Is it possible to architect a standard Drupal site for PC visitors, but REDIRECT visitor to an iPhone layer (e.g. subdirectory of pages) when the primary URL is visited by iPhone. Current visitors to the hompage of an HTML website that visit using iPhone Safari UserAgent are redirected by Javascript to a subset of pages built with iWebkit (4.x). Works perfectly. Will the anaology hold for Drupal pHp pages (e.g. place analogous Javsascript in the Head)?
