I read the blog post about webforms support in the newest version, how do you enable it for fields in a particular form - am I missing a point here?

The latest mention I see on the Mollom blog is:

Enables use of Mollom for any form; with Webform module integration almost completed

Webform support will be added from the actual Webform module itself, and not from Mollom. See #686136: Implement hook_mollom_form_info for submission protection by Mollom for the progress of that issue.
