After updating from 6.15 to 6.16 I recognized that crawlers are counted as guests in the "Who is online" Block.
As I think this was not happen before, I am wondering how I can filter them out again.

RaRi commented--> Still pending .. no answer .. no solution ..
--> Changing to user.module as it seems that core system is the wrong component...

calebtr commentedRaRi, did you resolve this? Some other people are having the same problem. I posted my comments at http://drupal.org/node/799476.

damien tournoud commentedNothing special changed in 6.16, that could explain this.
The only possible reason for this is that you added a module to your installation that stores something in the session for anonymous users. Mobile tools is known to do this, but there might be others too.

calebtr commentedThanks! I'm trying to unify the people having this problem into a common thread. I agree completely it isn't a user.module or drupal core issue.
I can't find anything in the Mobile Tools issue queue or documentation related to this - do you have any links to more information? I do see the mobile tools info serialized in the sessions table. I suppose it is "by design", and yet, wonder at the design.

RaRi commentedMmmhh .. unfortunately the issue seems to be still in a pending state....
Where can I find the dedicated thread for that?
