CVS edit link for juhaniemi

For starters, I plan to contribute a Ubercart related payment gateway module which we done recently for a client site. The module is called uc_checkoutfi, named after integrating the Checkout.fi payment gateway.

We've been building tens of Drupal sites from small to large and developed custom modules and themes for years. We hope to wrap some of the work and knowledge as releasable contrib modules too.

As the review work is done from volunteers, the time that passes before a review is done can vary; please consider this.

The motivation should be expanded, as per Apply for contributions CVS access, it should be a few paragraphs instead of only a few sentences, and it should include details about your contribution, its features, how it compares to already existing solutions, links to screenshots or a demo, etc.

There is no comparable module available ATM. This module integrates the Finnish payment gateway Checkout.fi.

The motivation behind this module is to enable site/store administrators to easily add Finnish payment options for their Ubercart webstores. Since Ubercart is getting more and more popular, there has been more and more demand for this kind of module.

Checkout.fi gateway provides more simpler solution than having to make agreements and integrations for each of the Finnish banks.

I did a review to the module. The code looks good and there is no existing module for this payment gateway. There were number of (very) minor issues with the code, I did a chat with juhaniemi and walked them trough. There will be a new zip posted soon. I recommend approving this application.
