spam 2.1.2 don't works together with module guestbook

I'm using the spam module 2.1.2 with the guestbook module under drupal 4.7.2.
I'll get every day 1-5 spam posts in my guestbook and the spam module do nothing against this.
It seems to me, that the module don't watch at the guestbook.
