All that isn't actually why I'm applying for a CVS account, though. Earlier today, I was invited to co-maintain a project, Registrar API. I have identified several bugs in this module, and have contributed code (in the form of a .inc file). I would very much like to accept this offer.
I have bought and read most of the Drupal books and DVDs published in the past couple years. Despite having bought it first, I'm finally able to make sense of "Pro Drupal Development", and should be finished reading it (for the first time, anyway) shortly.
The business I am launching is primarily built around Drupal, and I am using it and evangelizing it in every project to which I become associated.
All that being said, I thought there would be a field to upload a file. The application guidelines certainly imply that. I'll be glad to share my code for review, though I readily admit that I am relatively new to programming, and have no doubt made some rookie mistakes.
While I earnestly hope that you'll accept my application, I intend to continue to grow within and contribute to the Drupal community regardless. I do however feel that I am ready for this next step.
Best regards, C

avpadernoHello, and thanks for applying for a CVS account.
If you need a CVS account to become co-maintainer of an existing project, you should have opened a support request in the project queue, offering to become co-maintainer; as alternative, we require that the current maintainer reports here that he accepts you as co-maintainer.

hadsie commentedYeah, he'll be helping me maintain the registrar_api module. I think he needs a CVS account before I can add him to the project though.
Cheers,
Scott
