Hi feeds is the successor of feedapi (www.drupal.org/project/feeds).
May be could to move to feeds before this great install profile goes live on 1.0!

I have a feeling that it would not be exactly a point-and-click experience, but since FeedAPI is being "phased out" ("Aron Novak and I will start to phase out FeedAPI maintenance effective with this blog post. " from this article at developmentseed.) it might be helpful.
