Is there a possibility of commenting on images within the overlay?

Not yet. I have planned to add this feature though. I just don't know yet where to display the comments in the overlay. Vertically I should not waste too much space I guess. So maybe it will be another overlay. Or does anyone have good ideas UX-wise?

i am not sure whether it is possible to integrate with the popups api for both post form and reading the comments.

I started the development now without the popups api. It will be a slide-in widget on the right side of the image. It's not yet finished, there are still some small issues and I need to test it more.

I created a development release which should be available for download within the next 12h. Please check it out and have a look at it.

hello. Thanks this look really cool. One thing i notice is that comments are now overlaying the image on the right side. Is it possible to make it expand in outwards direction of the image?
