Not sure if this problem is with Acquia Prosper or the Fusion theme, but since I am using the Acquia Prosper theme I gamble and file the bug report here.
When I edit the node template, the cogwheel popup for a content object gets cut off and quite often save form has disappeared. I have checked the source code and the form is there.
I have also seen, rarely, the save form without border as well as two save forms, one with border and one without.
It looks to me that both get hidden behind another block.
Reload of the page seldom fixes this problem so it renders working with panels almost impossible since I have to reload the page, go to other areas and so on until I see the form. Not only that, since it cuts the menu I can't us the hidden menu commands until I get to see the form again.
The latter becomes an even bigger problem as I will have to move the lowest content object up so that I actually can access those menu items that are cut off.
See attached screen shots for how it looks.

jeremycaldwell commentedSeems the issue is with this bit of CSS in the Fusion Core theme:
I don't see any unique ID's or classes in the page's body class that has anything to do with Panels that is consistent so there is no easy way to override that bit of CSS. You may want to use the CSS Injector module and load this bit of code on your Panels editing pages to fix it.
That would fix the issue if you can get it to load on your Panels specific editing pages through the CSS Injector module. Can't really think of an easier way to do that at the moment.

tsvenson commentedHi,
I have discovered some more info regarding this. I ran into all sorts of problems while trying to create a subtheme based on Acquia Prosper and eventually ditched that idea.
As soon as I stopped using the subtheme this problem disappeared and I have no more CSS issues when using panels.
To recreate the problems I got simply create an empty subtheme with just the .info file, base it on "acquia prosper" and comment out:
;stylesheets[all][] = css/acquia-prosper-style.css
;scripts[] = js/jquery.corner.js
;scripts[] = js/acquia-prosper-script.js
Also set Acquia Prosper as Administration theme.
Then all sorts of weird things are going to happen when you either change the theme configurations for both the Acquia Prosper and your subtheme.
Even more funny stuff happens when using the Skinr features and so on.
It seems the theme system gets really confused about what theme the various settings belongs to as well as how to apply them.
I also tried setting "skinr[options][inherit_skins] = false" but it didn't make any difference.
As soon as I changed to only use Acquia Prosper it all went back to normal.
Conclusion: Skinr/Fusion Core can only have one subtheme, it is not working well when creating another subtheme of the subtheme.

tsvenson commentedSuspected it was by design. Suggest that it is made much clearer in the documentation...

sociotech commentededde42,
You are correct, Acquia Prosper cannot currently be used as a base theme for another sub-theme due to a bug in Drupal. I've submitted a patch if you'd like to try it out and report back on it:
http://drupal.org/node/481142
In the meantime, I've made it more clear on the Acquia Prosper project page that you cannot subtheme it at this time.
Thanks for your feedback.

tsvenson commentedHi sociotech,
Good we could sort that out. Unfortunately I am on a deadline at the moment for a project, but I like what I have seen so far and plan to use this theme for another project and then have more time to thoroughly test it.

kbell commentedThis issue is listed as closed (fixed) but that does not seem to be what the comments are saying. Can someone please definitively state where Prosper is with this bug at this time? Is there another TopNotch (or other Fusion-based) theme I can use which allows for subthemeing and which is optimized for Ubercart?
Thank you,

jeremycaldwell commented@kbell, you can create a sub-theme of Acquia Prosper now as the issue with sub-sub-theming has been fixed and included in the 6.20 release of Drupal.
Being that Acquia Prosper is a sub-theme of Fusion this was an issue at the time due to a limitation with Drupal being able to properly work with sub-sub-themes. But this has now been fixed and should be working correctly.
