All views and view links broken, including admin link

I just duplicated one of my dev sites (which is 4.7.0) and upgraded the duplicate to the latest CVS of drupal. Also upgraded Views. Now, all my block views are empty and when I go to /admin/views or any of my paged views, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Cannot use string offset as an array in /home/---path-to-site-root---/includes/theme.inc on line 505

Might this be related to mav3rick's themeing patch (that Dries committed to HEAD) that broke all the CVS themes?

FYI: the dev duplicate is on Dreamhost: MySQL 5.0.18-standard-log, PHP 5.1.2 and Apache 2 (I think).
