Hi guys,
I'm Nigel McNie, the developer of GeSHi. Just recently I've been looking at using drupal for a few of my websites, and it's good to see a GeSHi filter is available for it :)
However I'm not too happy with the fact that you've taken a bunch of wording from the GeSHi documentation without any attribution. Sure, the text is useful to you and I don't mind you using it at all, but just like any other text you should quote your sources :)
Other than that, good job! If you need clarification on any GeSHi-specific issue then you're welcome to contact me, and you can be sure that I'll be pushing the limits of this filter and submitting patches etc. :)

dvessel commentedFinally, it looks like this module will take shape. :) I'm going to download it now and test it. Just hope it doesn't require php5 for the css styling. Don't wanna deal with font tags.
Amazing job on the documentation Nijel even though half of it was over my head.

I'm really sorry to use GeSHi documentation without any attribution.
Actually I'm really not fluent in English and it was easier and faster for
me. I will quotes the sources to correct that.
Anyway thanks a lot for your GeSHI which is really usefull !
I hope you'll work on this module, your on the best place to understand

nigel commentedNope, it doesn't use highlight_string or anything like that, they're all tags.
Yes, that looks fine now :)
I hope I can give some help on this module too :). It might not be immediately but I do need to update the GeSHi site at some point, and drupal is looking more and more like a good fit for what I need :)

pitpit commentedI hope the GeSHi homepage will be performed by Drupal soon, and also could become the GeSHiFilter project homepage and demo site...
good luck
