IP to Country

What did you expect to see? Check out the code: this critter is as descibed: "a simple API". It doesn't have any config options. On its own it doesn't do anything: it is designed to be used by other modules. i'm not aware of any contrib modules that use it so you have to write your own code. You also need to download and populate the database table using fetchdb.sh which is all very well if you are on unix. My dev environment is on Windows so I manually downloaded and inserted the data which took some mucking about.

For example, I added this code to watchdog.module in 4.6. One day i'll do similar to statistics.module and badbehaviour.module

Would like to see some sample code. I am not gifted with many programming-skills, but i would like to experiment with some examples. And therefor......

Maybe this sounds a bit stupid to programmers, but that's the way it is :-)

thanks for posting that example. interesting stuff. I'm thinking of implementing the Ip2CC.module for a profile field called Country..and as well for the address.module...

did you work out the posted example by guessing, looking at the module source, or is there some documentation somewhere that isn't obviously linked?
