Hi,

I have installed the latest version (node_gallery-6.x-2.0-alpha9) on my Drupal 6.14 site. The module works fine. But for some reason it conflicts/crashes some of my other modules. At the moment I can se that it regards the Profile Complete Percent-module and the ddblock-module. But the strange thing is, that it is only a problem in Internet Explorer. Firefox, Safari and Opera works normal.

Kind regards, Morten

Download alpha 11. If it is still an issue, reopen.

Reopen:

I deleted the alpha9 and installed the alpha11.

The problem is still there. Though ddblock now seems to work normal again I still having the problem with the PCP-module. I have attached an image of the situation before and after the installation of Node Gallery for you to see what happends.

I can add to your information that I experienced the same bug whith the "Album photo" module which is similar to the Node Gallery.

Regard that it is still ONLY in IE that it is a problem.

I am wondering which version of the Non-Compliant browser, Internet Exploader is the problem.. 4,5,6,7 ..?

Just to help others follow this post, the modules referred to:

ddblock module -or- Dynamic display block
http://drupal.org/project/ddblock

PCP module -or- Profile Complete Percent
http://drupal.org/project/pcp

Album photos

I guess the mentioned modules could be many others. These are incidentally just the ones I use.

I tested IE 6,7 and 8. And I get the bug in all IE versions.

I keep thinking the weight of the profile pcp module in the database might be the cause.

What dbeall said. You can install the module weight module and adjust them. See if that works. http://drupal.org/project/util

I doubt this is an issue with node gallery. Look at firebug to see if there is a CSS problem.

I agree that the problem seems to be found some where else. It's a bit of a jungle between symptoms and causes. But I can conclude now, that the node gallery is not the sinner. I will close this issue. Thanx for your help and I appologize for the detour. :-] M
