I would like to request CVS access so that I can co-maintain a module.

I have requested to co-maintain the gmap module so that I can help clear the module's issue queue.
I have asked the gmap maintainer if he is willing to give me access in the issue #608088: Update project page (comment #7, his reply in #9).

I have done a lot of work with the gmap/location modules in the past 18 months for various clients and I am quite familiar with workings of it.
The module has a lot of users and I understand how it is to be busy with work and not have a lot of time for community sometimes so I would like to dedicate some of my time to helping keep the issue queue to a minimum.

I have worked full time as a drupal developer for the last 18 months as well as a lot of other software development previous to that and am very familiar with drupal, drupal coding standards and CVS usage.

rooby has been a positive contributor to a number of issue queues, including a recent patch reviewed and committed by Crell. Seems like a good candidate.

However, CVS access is not actually required in order to assist in managing the issue queue. But if bdragon desires him to have it, it seems it should be his call.
