Unable to get friends list & my posts to show up on user profile

Hello,
I'm trying to duplicate a similar user profile setup like: http://www.shellsn.com/users/michelle

I installed everything following the steps in the documentation, but when I go to view a user profile, nothing shows up where friends and my posts should be. I noticed when I goto edit the page user_views, some of the panels say "deleted/missing content type views_panes", which i believe is where these should be showing up.

Is there something I'm forgetting to setup?
