Hey there, follow module does a lot of this stuff already. Instead of having two separate modules we should consolidate these. There is already work on a D7 release for follow as well.

Hey q0rban, I began this as a weekend project for fun.

I actually am quite interested in this type of module and would be glad to consolidate our efforts. :-)
