Receive "æøåÆØÅ" chars from the node object gets corrupted

Using AMFPHP as a com link between Drupel and flash corrupts the Danish chars "æøåÆØÅ"

When i look at services/note.get in Drupel the chars displays right.
If I hard code the chars in flash they are displayed right too .

When i receive the "æøåÆØÅ" chars from the node object they are corrupted

e.g. "ø" displays two chars "ø"
