Manually Add New User

Are there any plans to hook into the manual add user routines with this module? Occasionally I need to assign someone to a group before they have logged into a site for the first time, but the user does not get created until they go to the site and this module creates their userid. If the add a user routine would call this module if enabled and add the user and the authmap entries, I could add them and assign them to roles before they have been to the site.
