quicksketchThis is a question for VotingAPI, Fivestar is just a widget for registering votes. VotingAPI provides all the data storage and retrieval options. I do not know a way of doing what you are requesting through any existing APIs.

1st-angel commentedHello,
I am interested in this kind of feature.
I have a bunch of nodes that are rated by the users. I currently have a view that displays all these pages sorted by the current votes.
Is it possible to show the current rank in this view or on the node itself. I will need this and if it is not possible I will have to implement it and will contribute the code to the community but i think this is a common task and someone must have done this before.

erik commentedI'm looking for almost the same thing.
When a node is displayed I would like it to have a label saying it's currently 'in the top 5' of all the nodes voted on.
Sure, it's possible with some custom php code, but I imagine my use-case isn't so special no one has thought of a more generic approach for this.

theo38 commentedI'm also looking for this. Got it working on my site here http://www.culturerater.com/film/ by just using MySQL to sort by the average and then votes, and then had to use PHP to actually output the rank as MySQL wasn't capable of accounting for tied rankings. But don't know how to implement this into the API at this time...

legolasboDrupal 6 is no longer supported. Closing old issues to clean up the issue queue.
Please reopen and update this issue if this is still an issue in the D7 or D8 version.
