Automatic image handling for Image Galleries (lightbox2 & image module + gallery view) [#620052]

Hello,

Hopefully you can help because I'd like to get this working. I have the Image Module installed with numerous Image Galleries but wanted better navigation, so I installed Lightbox2. It doesn't seem to be working, unless I'm missing something. Running Windows XP and see problem with Firefox 3.5 and Opera 10.

Based on the documentation I thought Automatic Image Handling was what I needed, here are the settings (though I have tried many variations):

Automatics Handlers - Image Node Settings - Automatic handler for image nodes: Lightbox
Lightbox image display size: Original
Image trigger size: Thumbnail

When I go to an Image Gallery and click on a thumbnail, the Image opens in the main window as per usual. If I click on the thumbnail link under the photo, it will open the thumbnail in Lightbox2.

Lightbox2 ver. 6.x-1.9
Drupal 6.14

When using a view with the style "gallery" (views 2.6 drupal 6), a thumbnail image displays a thumbnail in lightbox, instead of the original image (or whatever size you want it to).

You can see an example of the problem in this production website I designed :

Thanks for work so far. I've reviewed queries on a few support queues.

My issue is similar to Brian's above but the difference is I'm using lightbox2 for Drupal 5.

Funny thing is I have lightbox working beautifully on 2 other sites but they are drupal 6.

Basically I'm hoping you have some advice on getting it working for Lightbox2/drupal5.

This is my first ever posting because I normally find my solutions but not this time. So I hope I have followed the correct procedure.

more precise title for the feature request

@dmastermind :
sorry, I think that this particular issue is in drupal 6, as it uses views 2 and image module's gallery view. As far as I know, the issue you've mentioned with drupal 5 might be something else. I turned it back to a 6.x feature request, in order not to mess up different issues together.
