I have just clean installed 4.7 and guestbook. Checking or unchecking the boxes under 'Toggle display:' in guestbook settings has no affect on what is actually displayed on the site guestbook page.
I have tried varying the selection, and have ensured that caching is not causing this problem.

Here is a quick fix:

Search the function guestbook_settings() in guestbook.module.
At the end of the function just before return $form; insert this line of code:

  $form['array_filter'] = array('#type' => 'value', '#value' => TRUE);

I currently can't make patches against the version hba checked in to cvs. For the time being please try the above.

Thanks tenrapid. This hack works for me!
Perhaps hba could make the necessary changes so you can get the module updated? (In the 4.7 section as well as cvs please?!) I'm trying to avoid hacks at the moment while getting several sites set up.
I've marked this 'ready to be committed' as the code is 'ready to be applied'.
Some great improvements for 4.7. Thank you and keep up the good work! :-)
