Hi rcrowther and everybody,

First of all, I really appreciate the way rcrowther is answering the issues =). Most of them are either very sincere or quite fun to read. Hope mine also will get some light shed on it.

I have created my TTM. Everything looks fine. But when I wanted use my TTM as Primary or Secondary links, the menu items are linked to (/ttprnts/VocabularyID/TermID). "ttprnts" pretty much ruins it and should be replaced by (/taxonomy/term) to function.

I presume that there must be a reason for that and TTM is not made for users to use it in Primary and Secondary links but just wanted to double check in case I am missing something.

OK. Maybe spoke too soon =).

Uninstalled and upgrade to 7.1 and I have been able to make this working as I want. Very happy at the moment =).

I do not know if the problem was with 6.4 or just my install had a glitch.

PS: If you choose "Term pages include the nodes from descendant terms" option in the edit menu page, then the Secondary Links dont get displayed for some reason. So instead of selecting this option, I modified the view "taxonomy_term" that I was using to display the results and changed "Taxonomy: Term ID (with depth)" from 0 to 1. This is quite obvious for most people but might be useful for newbies.

Hey, I never even considered this idea! Another unexpected result from V7. When I get a chance I'll work through your posts and get something into the help.

Oh, and you were correct. TTM used custom link data so never could do this until V7. It was a user of Sitemap who finally tilted me into finding some kind of solution. The ramifications are just too extensive for testing - hence my interest in your own ingenuity.

And thanks for the thumbs up about the list! I often seem to upset as many people as I please - I guess it comes hard if you get a articulated 'no' when you're forging for a solution. But articulating thoughts into short posts can often have unintended effects, so I do think people deserve room and conversation. TTM is so much better now than it was in summer (which in itself was a major step forward), and it's heavily influenced by contributions from the queue.
